Mr. Jones provides a wonderful analysis of Andrew Young's time as US permrep at the UN in this work. He covers Young's work with various individuals and nations and his numerous perceived and real mistakes in his time in that position. The opinions of other leading US foreign policy formulators of the time, like Cyrus Vance and President Carter, are discussed, as are those by other scholars who have often overlooked key points in their ideological condemnations. Well worth reading for anyone interested in Young, recent history or US foreign policy.

Very well written biography of one of the greatest female scientists of all time.

The book not only describes her struggles and achievements, but also does a good job in clearly portraying her character, and passion for science.

A must read for adults and kids alike who are considering a career in science and technology.

As a chiled my father read me this story and it scaired the s*** out of me. my bed was under a sky light so I thought I was easy prey, because nobody could resist the call of the fly by night I thought. I had the biggest scaire one night when I woke up to a neabors BLACK CAT walking accross my window!! If you havent read this story or anny other terry jones faerie tales, log off and make you're way to the library. or just order them, all of them! and I doesent matter how old you are, Adults can apreciate the stories as much as children, maybe more. these stories are fresh and alive. I cherish my coppy of Fairy Tales ( the colection fly by night came from), It shaires a place in my heart with my OLD coppyes of grim and anderson fairy tales (the good ones with unhappyness, death and loss of limbs),narnia and the terrible horrible no good verry bad day. This book features some of the most prominent authors born and bred in NorthWestern Ontario. I myself found the book intriguing, being from NW Ontario myself, because it references landmarks, sights, and sounds, common in Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. Nancy Bjorgo's story is without a doubt the one that stands out most in my mind in this incredible collection. I had no idea such talent resided in NorthWestern Ontario, the stories are powerful! If short fiction is your passion, pick this book up!

i bought this book along with fodor's guide to b and b's in the pacific northwest. this guide is a good one, both for residents who haven't had time to really see the area and for tourists. its the only one of the guidebooks that i browsed that has accurate information on doing a circle tour of the olympic peninsula. and it has a section that recommends itineraries for one, three, and seven days.

I just finished reading this book and I loved it. Posy, the lead character is adorable. It was very entertaining reading about her April Fool's Day from hell and the zillion of characters she interacts with throughtout the day. I would love to see this book made into a movie. All the characters were funny and/or unique and I wanted the story to continue. I'd love to see a sequel to this GREAT book because I enjoyed it that much. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an entertaining read and I hope LJ Jones writes more stories.

A wonderful multidisciplinary approach which shows that Dance can be political and literary, in addition to being physical and visual. Engages the reader to consider dance and choreography in a new way -- including that there need not be an edge to the stage, i.e. that the stage can be the world so that the performance can even be the self of the "viewer."

If you need to find out about fossil vertebrates of Alabama, this is the book you need! And I'm not just saying that because my maiden name is Thurmond and my father is the author! :) He lived in Alabama (which is where I was born)for quite a while and taught Paleontology at Birmingham Southern University. Please read my father's book! It's great for research, too! He won't care about royalties (I'm sure there aren't many...it's not on the best seller list or anything...) but he will care about spreading his vast knowledge to others who are interested in the subject! That is what he loved to do before he recently retired from teaching (after more than 25 years!). Enjoy!

I use this textbook for my Financial Markets class and I learn so much from it. Fabozzi does a wonderful job of transfering his ideas to students so they can comprehend them and learn. Because of this book, I will definately get an 'A' in my class. I recommend this book to anybody.
